Sue was the first Bryant female basketball player to score 1,000 points and was Bryant's first Academic All-America. During her four-year career from 1981-84, she scored 1,267 points. A sharp-shooting guard, she was the Lady Indians' leading scorer in each of the final three years of her career. In addition to her point totals, she also is the leading playmaker in Bryant history.

She holds college records for most assists in a game (14) and most career assists (625).
