Matt KuharMatt Kuhar wrapped up one of the greatest careers in Bryant Athletics history in the spring of 2019. He was named the Northeast Conference and USTA Rhode Island Player of the Year each of his last three seasons at Bryant. Kuhar added an NEC Rookie of the Year honor as a freshman and helped the Bulldogs win five straight NEC titles during his time in Smithfield.

He finished his Bryant career with an 87-31 singles record, became the first tennis player in school history to earn a national ranking, getting as high as No. 77, and was a part of the first doubles team in NEC and Bryant history to qualify for the NCAA Tournament.

His most impressive season came as a senior when he posted a 24-8 singles mark that included three victories over nationally-ranked opponents, and an 18-10 doubles record that ended in the NCAA Doubles Championships. Kuhar also excelled in the classroom, earning NEC Men’s Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors three times.
