Men’s Tennis
Hall of Fame Class of 2002

Pavlik was named the Northeast-10 Conference player of the year an unparalleled four times, and he completed his career at Bryant having never lost a regular-season Division II singles match. No other player in any sport in the history of the conference can make a similar claim.

Overall, Pavlik amassed a career record of 86-4.  He was the first Bryant player to qualify for the NCAA Division II tournament as an individual when he accomplished the feat in 1994, and he was the No. 1 player on the first Bryant team to reach the NCAA bracket in 1996.

In addition to his four player-of-the-year honors, Pavlik also won four Northeast-10 singles champions, a Rolex East championship, a New England championship and was the No. 6-ranked player in Division II as part of his All-America senior season.

Pavlik’s accomplishments on the court were only half the story, however. He attended Bryant on a prestigious presidential scholarship, was a first team GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-America selection, and graduated magna cum laude from the college in 1996 with a dual degree in computer information systems and finance.
