Former baseball standout Paul Perry ‘83 enjoyed a very successful career at Bryant from 1981 to 1983.  Joining the team after transferring from USC, Perry made an immediate impact on the program.  In just his first year, he posted the second-best batting average in New England of .430 and ranked No. 22 in the country. His 13 doubles that season also put him atop the national leaders as he became Bryant’s first-ever Northeast-10 First Team All-Conference selection. He finished his career with more than 100 hits and an all-time batting average of .367.  His slugging percentage from 1981-83 of .575 still ranks in the top 10 in the Bryant baseball record book.
