Captain of the 1965 Bryant varsity basketball team, Richard Tellier compiled an outstanding record as coach of the Community College of Rhode Island's (CCRI) women's softball team over teh past five years. He was named the New England Junior College Coach fo the Year after directing the Lady Knights to a 19-5 record. It was the best record in the history of the CCRI women's softball program.
