Hall of Fame Class of 2004

Luke Robustelli was called one of the most feared baseball players ever to play in the Northeast-10 Conference by 14th-year coach Jon Sjogren. Luke Robustelli was the complete package: a talented athlete that could hit, run, play defense, as well as excel in the classroom, earning GTE District I Academic All-American honors in 1997. The holder of six baseball school records that still stand today, Robustelli had the reputation as one of the toughest players an opposing team had to face.

The offensive numbers he put up at the plate were one thing, but it was his shear ability to make things happen when he reached base that would drive opposing teams crazy. During his career, Robustelli set a school record for runs in a game with five, runs in a season with 76, and runs in a career with 219.

Not to mention that he is the holder of stolen base records including stolen bases in a game with six, season with 47 and career with 128, and is second all-time for career base hits with 238. A career .363 hitter at the plate, Robustelli had 82 hits as a senior and despite batting in the leadoff spot, he still managed to get runners home, finishing his career ranked fifth all time with 127 runs batted in.

Robustelli was the first player in Division II history to record 200 hits and 100 steals in a career and led Bryant to the 1998 Northeast-10 regular season conference title and the 1998 NCAA Division II tournament.
