The Bryant University women’s basketball team enjoyed tremendous success under the tenure of coach Mike McKee from 1977-1986.  During his nine seasons, Bryant posted seven winning seasons including back-to-back 20-win seasons including a school record 21 wins in 1985.  A graduate of St. Francis College in Maine and coach at Mount St. Charles, McKee led Bryant to the Northeast-8 (now Northeast-10) Championship and berth in the NCAA Division II tournament in 1986.  He was 121-76 overall as head coach.
