WORCESTER, MASS.- The Bryant women's track and field team won the NEICAAA Championships on Saturday at Holy Cross after posting 93.5 total points. This marks the first championship victory for either team in program history. Jasmine Hope reset her three year old school record and won the women's long jump after jumping 6.05m. Kelley MacElhiney, Marissa Crowley, Shelby Degrenier, and Aliya Barrows shattered the women's 4x800m relay school record by over 17 seconds and also took home the gold.

Bulldog Notes and Notables

• Two Bulldogs placed inside the top 10 in the women's pole vault, Lois Warden placed 2nd after clearing 3.62m. Ashley Brule finished 4th after clearing 3.62m.

• Kasey Thomas placed 2nd in the women's shot put after throwing 14.43m.

• Jasmine Trott placed second in the women's 5,000m after running 17:02.37. Chloe Whiting finished 4th with a time of 17.23.81.

• Women's 100m dash final featured three Bulldogs. Jasmine Hope led the trio finishing 2nd with a time of 11.96. Christina Capozzi ran 12.17 and placed 5th and Iyana Braswell finished in 7th with a time of 12.42.

• Shelby Anderson finished 5th in the women's javelin after throwing 38.09m.

• Ryan Bourke, William Remkiewicz, Toby Ruffo, and Nolan Hickey placed 4th in the men's 4x800m relay.

• Nolan Hickey finished 6th in the men's 1,500m with a time of 3:52.22.

• Nicholas Poulin finished 9th in the men's 10,000m after running 32:27.30.

• Toby Ruffo placed 10th in the men's 800m after running 1:55.38.
