LOWELL, Mass. - The Black and Gold are slated to compete in the America East Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The two-day event, beginning Saturday, May 9, will be streamed live on ESPN+.
The Black and Gold enter the fray red-hot after rounding out the month of April at the University of New Hampshire, competing in the Wildcat Pre-Conference Invitational.Â
Georgia Wilson recorded a win in the 100m hurdles. Wilson earned a personal record, recording a time of 14.78 seconds. Additionally, Wilson earned first place in the long jump with a mark of 5.76 meters.
Peyton Barron earned a personal record in the pole vault, recording second place with a mark of 3.40 meters.
Annabelle Lynch earned a personal record in the 1500m, recording third place with a time of 4:43.91. Isabel Berardino and Liv Pachter rounded out the top five.
Norah Puleo earned a personal record in the 5k, recording third place overall with a time of 18:25.04.
Nikki Kroon earned a personal record in the 3000m steeplechase. Kroon recorded a time of 11:19.40 and earned second place.
Panayiota Anastos earned top-five placements in the shot put and hammer throw.
Kelly Wright earned a top-five placement in the javelin throw.
Moving to the men, Lazo Slijepcevjc earned a personal record in the 800m dash. Slijepcevic recorded third place with a time of 1:53.95.
Andrew McConnell earned a personal record in the 5k. McConnell finished third overall and recorded a time of 15:00.33.
Toby Ruffo earned a second-place finish in the 400m dash.
Justin Shiffrin recorded a third-place finish in the 1500m run.
Carlos Allen recorded third in the 110m hurdles.
Alexander Campbell recorded second in the pole vault.
Aaron Barnwell finished third in the long jump.
Jalen Wise earned a top-five placement in the triple jump.Â
Cooper Conklin earned a top-five placement in the hammer throw.Â
Teddy Hughes and Jack Ledbetter earned top-five placements in the javelin throw.
