Biography
As a Sophomore (2026):
- Competed in six meets for the Black and Gold.
- Earned third place in the javelin to open the season at the Jaylin Rainford Invitational.
- Earned third place at the George Davis Invitational.
- Earned second place at the Wildcat Invitational.
- Earned a personal best throw of 59.18m in the javelin at the America East Championship, ranking fourth all-time in program history.
As a Freshman (2025):
Outdoor:
- Competed in six meets.
- Recorded a personal best throw of 53.30m in the javelin at the UMass Pre-Conference Invitational.
Before Bryant:
- Four year member of varsity rack and field.
- Javelin - 149’11”
- Shot Put - 34’11”
- Weight Throw - 32’ 11”
Personal:
- Son of Stacy and Brian Hughes.
- Has two siblings Henry and Sam.
- Sam swims for Middlebury College
- Henry competes in track and field at Lafayette College
