SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University track and field programs are sending three student-athletes to compete at the First Round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships for the first time in program history. Each of the three Bulldogs performing in the First Round have put up stellar performances over the course of the outdoor season.

Aiden Guarneri will be stepping into Lexington making history as the first thrower in program history to qualify for the First Round of the Outdoor Championships. Guarneri has had a dominant senior season and established the all-time school record for the javelin throw at the George Davis Invitational. Guarneri's personal record of 66.57 meters is currently ranked No. 33 on the NCAA Division I East Outdoor performance list. Guarneri will be representing the Black and Gold first, competing in the javelin throw on Wednesday, May 27 at 1:00 p.m. 

Jasmine Trott steps into Lexington ready to make her second-consecutive appearance in the First Round of the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Trott is coming off a dominant performance at the America East Outdoor Championship, having earned the bronze in the 5k and the gold in the 10k with a time of 33:41.34. Earlier this season, Trott earned a win in the Jaylin Rainford Invitational 10k with a time of 33:38.32. Trott will be competing in the 10k on Thursday, May 28 at 9:10 p.m. 

Chloe Whiting runs into Lexington red-hot after a dominant showing at the America East Outdoor Championship, earning a personal record in the 10k and the gold medal in the 5k with a time of 16:18.35. Whiting started the outdoor season recording three-consecutive wins in the 5k (Buccaneer Invite, Jaylin Rainford Invitational and Ocean State Cup). Whiting is making her second-consecutive appearance at the First Round and will be competing in the 5k on Saturday, May 30 at 8:10 p.m.

The First Round action begins on Wednesday, May 27 and concludes on Saturday, May 30. The meet will be held on the campus of the University of Kentucky, in Lexington.
