GUERRERA EARNS SCHOOL RECORD IN ACTION-PACKED TRACK AND FIELD WEEKEND

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University track and field program competed in three meets this past weekend. 

The action started with the women's team competing at the Harvard Crimson Open on Friday, Feb. 13. Additionally, members from the men's and women's team competed at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational. The weekend finished with the URI Coaches Invitational.

URI COACHES INVITATIONAL

Starting in the Ocean State, Madison Guerrera improved upon her personal record to set the all-time school record in the 60 meter hurdles. Guerrera earned third place in the competition with a time of 8.84 seconds.

First year Marie Kane led the Bulldogs in the 200 meter dash. Kane earned a personal record in the 60 meter dash and 200 meter dash with times of 8.09 and 26.46 seconds respectively. Jalena Martin finished narrowly behind Kane, recording a personal record with a time of 26.76 in the 200 meter.

Sophomore Tishany De La Rosa recorded fourth place in the 400 meter event.

Junior Emma Nadolski earned a personal record in the 800 meter event. Nadolski finished in sixth place while recording a time of 2:21.22.

Sophomore Norah Puleo earned a personal record in the mile, recording a time of 5:21.87.
Junior Alexa Fisher earned a personal record in the 3000 meter event. Fisher finished in fifth place while recording a time of 10:37.72.

Emma Nadolski, Mia Bettez, Adriana Spinelli and Annabelle Lynch earned second place in the 4x800m relay with a time of 8:11.64.

Moving to the field, Sarina Sanders had an impressive day, earning top three placements in the long jump and the triple jump. Senior Kedarjah Lewis earned a top three placement as well in the long jump.

Amanda Kalinowski earned a personal record in the high jump with a mark of 1.45 meters.

First year Peyton Barron earned a personal record in the pole vault, recording fifth place with a mark of 3.51 meters.

Sophomore Panayiota Anastos earned multiple personal records on the day. Anastos recorded a mark of 13.16 meters in the shot put and 14.84 meters in the weight throw. Anastos earned a top three placement in shot put.

Moving on to the men's side, sophomore Kevin Brooks earned a personal record in the 400 meter event. Brooks earned a top three placement with a time of 50.63 seconds.

Senior Aiden Masse earned a personal record in the 3000 meter event. Masse finished fourth whilst recording a time of 8:38.32. Masse's previous personal record was set at the 2025 Bison Outdoor Classic.

Toby Ruffo, Jack Moir, Danny Torres and Bryson Fears worked together to earn a second place finish in the 4x800 relay with a time of 8:24.06.

Kyle Keyes earned a fifth place finish in the 500 meter event.

Moving to field events, freshman Alexander Campbell recorded a third place finish in the pole vault. Sophomore Chance Decrescenzo recorded fifth place while earning a personal record of 4.46 meters.

Junior Jake Martino set personal records on the track and on the field. Martino earned a 6th place finish in the long jump, recording a mark of 6.32 meters. Additionally, Martino broke the nine second barrier in the 60m hurdles, recording a time of 8.97 seconds.

Freshman Andrew Bertarelli recorded a fifth place finish in the long jump. Jalen Wise recorded a fifth place finish in the triple jump.
 

HARVARD CRIMSON OPEN

Jasmine Trott won the 3000 meter event with a time of 9:50.15. Trott held a consistent pace that got her to first place within the first 800 meters. Her fastest splits were in the first 200 and the last 200 meters. Trott finished the first 200 meters in 37.05 seconds and the last 200 meters in 37.46 seconds.

First year Ava Burl recorded a seventh place finish in the 1000 meter run. Kelley MacElhiney recorded a 12th place finish in the 800 meter dash.

Juniors Lauren Haddad and Emma Guadagnoli finished 11th and 12th respectively in the 500 meter dash. Haddad and Guadagnoli earned personal records of 1:17.18 and 1:17.85 respectively.
 

BU DAVID HEMERY VALENTINE INVITATIONAL

Ian Thomas and Aaron Barnwell each earned top three placements with their performances in the high jump. The two sophomores each recorded marks of 1.90 meters. Additionally, Barnwell earned a top 10 finish in the long jump.

Kalen Knott and Colby Nyhan each recorded top five placements in the pole vault. Knott recorded second with a mark of 4.90 meters.

Josiah Johnson and Kevin Brooks earned a personal record in the 200 meter dash. Johnson recorded a time of 22 seconds. Brooks recorded a time of 22.31 seconds. Johnson and Brooks recorded a 13th and 39th place respectively. Additionally, Josiah Johnson earned a personal record in the 400 meter dash with a time of 49.79 seconds.

On the women's side, Lauren Haddad earned her second personal best of the weekend. Haddad earned 5th place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 56.51 seconds.

Jordyn Collins earned a personal record in the 200 meter dash. Collins recorded an eighth place finish with a time of 25.10 seconds.

Chloe Whiting and Kelley MacElhiney each set personal records in the mile run. Whiting beat her previous personal record set at the 2025 America East Indoor Championship by 5.34 seconds. MacElhiney broke the five minute barrier with a time of 4:55.47.

Ella Goulas earned a personal record in the long jump. Goulas recorded second place with a mark of 5.87 meters.

Ashley Brule earned a third place finish in the pole vault. Brule recorded a mark of 3.75 meters. Additionally, Allyson Humphries recorded a top five finish in the pole vault event.
