Series History

• This is the second matchup between the Tigers and the Bulldogs and the first one in Smithfield. Bryant defeated Princeton
  in New Jersey on a rainy Saturday in 2023. The Black and Gold made two stops on 3rd and 4th down to secure
  the 16-13 OT victory.
• The Bulldogs are 4-7 against the Ivy League in DI program history. This will be the 12th meeting since 2009 for the Black
  and Gold against an Ivy League school.

Bulldogs Notes and Notables

• Shamar Fowles dazzled in the 31-3 victory at Hampton. He tallied four receptions for 112 yards, including a 60-yard receiving TD. He was the first Bulldog since 2024 to reach the century mark. His efforts earned him CAA Rookie of the Week honors.
• In the Bulldogs' two games against FCS teams, they have not allowed a touchdown. In the 31-3 victory against Hampton, it was the lowest total allowed for the Black and Gold since 2023. Bryant is holding FCS opponents to 127 rushing yards per game and 189 passing yards per game.
• Sean Wilson Jr. tallied his first receiving TD as a Bulldog on Saturday. He now has two games this season of over 50+ yards. He is top of the team with nine receptions and is the only receiver, along with Fowles, to have over 100 yards this season.
• Brennan Myer was dominant in the victory at Hampton; he tallied three total TDs (2 pass, 1 rush) and threw for 216 yards going 15-29. He now has 412 passing yards through 3 games and 49 yards on the ground. This was his fifth career game with three total TDs and the first time this season he surpassed 200 passing yards.
• This is the first time since 2020 that the Black and Gold have started the season 2-1.

A bit about the Tigers

• This will be the first game of the season for Princeton.
• Last season, the Tigers finished with a 3-7 overall record, with two of their wins coming on the road.
• Running back Ethan Clark and wide receiver Josh Robinson return after Clark made second-team All-Ivy League and Robinson won Rookie of the Year after tallying 569 yards.
•  Chase Christopher was second on the team last season with 79 tackles and earned All-Ivy League honors.
