SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University football team defeated Princeton 21-14 on homecoming at Beirne Stadium on Saturday.
Brennan Myer ran in for a touchdown,
OJ Ross posted a rushing touchdown, and
Jordan Bennett also tallied a score.
Omaris McMiller Jr. and
Ezra Carter recorded an interception, and
Gustavo Bravo blocked a field goal.
The Bulldogs moved to 3-1 for the first time since 2018.

How it Happened
- Princeton produced an eight-play drive on their first drive of the game that resulted in a 13-yard touchdown pass in the corner of the end zone at the ten-minute mark of the first quarter (7-0).
- The Tigers were driving again and reached the red zone before Omaris McMiller Jr. intercepted the pass, with two minutes remaining in the first quarter (7-0).
- The Bulldogs responded with a nine-play drive that saw Brennan Myer rush it in on the option to tie the game at seven, with 9:36 remaining in the second quarter (7-7).
- Princeton missed a kick, and the Black and Gold threw an interception on the following possession. The Tigers drove and set up a field goal to end the half, but Gustavo Bravo blocked it, keeping the game tied at seven at halftime.
- The Tigers began the second half with the ball and drove down the field, setting up a field goal, but the snap was fumbled, giving Bryant possession at their own 21-yard line.
- The Bulldogs would then lead a 15-play drive, which saw Sean Wilson Jr. tally two catches for 33 yards, Jordan Bennett convert a 4th and one, and then OJ Ross punch it in to give Bryant a 14-7 lead with five minutes left in the third quarter (14-7).
- Princeton led an 11-play drive that ended at the start of the fourth quarter, tying the game at 14 on a rushing touchdown (14-14).
- The Black and Gold produced a 14-play drive that saw Wilson Jr. make a catch over a defender for a 31-yard gain on third down. This set up Jordan Bennett, who ran up the middle for an 11-yard touchdown, giving Bryant a 21-14 lead with 8:25 left in the game (21-14).
- Princeton got the ball in the final three minutes and was driving before Ezra Carter made a game-sealing interception to secure the 21-14 victory for the Bulldogs.
