SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The No. 18 nationally ranked Bryant women's bowling team competes in the ECC Championships this weekend at Bowler City Lanes in Hackensack, NJ.
The Bulldogs finished as the No. 1 overall seed in the ECC, receiving a first-round bye. They'll face the No. 4 seed Adelphi on Saturday. The No. 2 seed Kutztown will face the No. 3 seed Molloy in the other match. Bryant went a combined 4-0 against these opponents during the regular season.
The Bulldogs are coming off their best season in program history, finishing with a 55-32 record. They came in at No. 18 in the latest National Tenpin Coaches Association, their highest ranking in program history.
Bryant received several end of year ECC awards.
Olivia Hillman became the first player in program history to win Bowler of the Year. Hillman also earned First Team All-ECC honors, joined by
Laura Clark and
Madison Damer.
Madison Lewis took home Second Team All-ECC honors.
Morgan Walsh won Coach of the Year for the second time in the last three seasons.
