WOMEN’S BOWLING PUNCHES TICKET TO ECC FINAL ON SUNDAY

HACKENSACK, N.J. – The No. 18 ranked Bryant women's bowling team punched their ticket to the ECC championship round with two wins on Saturday over Adelphi and Molloy at Bowler City Lanes.

The Bulldogs entered the tournament as the No. 1 overall seed, receiving a first-round bye on Friday. They started Saturday with a 2-0 win in traditional format over the No. 4 seed Adelphi, advancing to the next round.

ECC Bowler of the Year Olivia Hillman led the way for Bryant in Game 1, finishing with a score of 235.

Bryant then squared off against the No. 3 seed Molloy in a best-three mega match format. The Bulldogs picked up another 2-0 win to advance to the championship round on Sunday. This marks Bryant's second appearance in the ECC championship round in the last three seasons.

Second Team All-ECC selection Madison Lewis helped Bryant secure Game 1, finishing with a final score of 232.

The Bulldogs are on the cusp of their first ECC championship in program history. Bryant will face the winner of Kutztown vs. Molloy tomorrow. With the tournament being a double elimination format, the winner of the Kutztown vs. Molloy match will have to beat Bryant twice to win the championship.
