PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas -- The Bryant women's bowling team and five student-athletes received recognition for their performance in the classroom as the National Ten Pin Coaches Association (NTCA) announced its All-Academic Scholar Teams and Athletes for the 2025-26 season on Monday.
To qualify for the NTCA All-Academic Scholar Team award, programs must have maintained a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or higher during the 2025–26 academic year. This year, sixty teams earned this prestigious distinction, exemplifying a strong commitment to excellence both on the lanes and in the classroom, as detailed below. To be eligible for the individual honor, student-athletes must have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.4 during the academic year.
Bryant finished the year with a 3.61 team GPA, 17th among the 60 schools recognized. The honor comes on the heels of the most successful seasons in program history as the Bulldogs claimed the East Coast Conference title and advanced to the NCA Championships.
The Black and Gold also had five student-athletes recognized as

Hayden Smith,
Jessica Swenson, Abigail Unson and
Lea Whittey earned all-academic honors.
