SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Olivia Hillman was named the ECC bowler of the week and Madison Lewis was named the ECC rookie of the week, both announced by the conference on Thursday afternoon. 

This is the fifth time Hillman has received the honor this season. Hillman had a great weekend to round out the regular season, helping her team finish in fifth place at the Stallings Invite. She shot 246 against conference opponent Saint Anselm in the last game on Saturday to make the All-Tournament Team, finishing fifth overall individually. She also averaged 20.11 for baker, anchoring the team to a great weekend with multiple nationally ranked wins. In addition, she went 100% on single pin spares for all baker frames bowled for the tournament, with a strike percentage of over 50%.

This is the third time Lewis has received the honor this season. Lewis played a crucial role in helping the Bulldogs finish with an 8-4 record at the Stallings Invite. She was consistent on Sunday, helping her team catch wins against No. 16 nationally ranked Mount St. Mary's (Md.) and No. 22 ranked Duquesne to finish right behind the top programs in the country. She averaged 18.23 for baker and 17.26 for traditional, with a single pin spare percentage of 100% on Saturday.

The Bulldogs return to action for the ECC championships on March 20-22 at Bowler City Lanes in Hackensack, NJ.
