BOSTON - The Bryant University track and field team earned four medals on the final day of the 2026 America East Indoor Championship. The women's team finished the championship in third place overall. The men's team doubled their point total from last year.
Ella Goulas earned the gold medal in the triple jump. Goulas surpassed her previous personal record of 11.94 meters to improve the all-time school record. Goulas broke the 12-meter barrier, recording a mark of 12.23 meters. For her efforts, Goulas earned Most Outstanding Field Performer honors.
Panayiota Anastos smashed her personal record in the shot put. Anastos earned the bronze medal with a mark of 13.52 meters, improving on her previous best of 13.16 meters.
Chloe Whiting and Jasmine Trott earned podium finishes in the 3k. Whiting earned the silver medal and established the all-time school record with a time of 9:27.09. Trott earned the bronze medal and recorded a time of 9:27.15.
Georgia Wilson set a new school record in the 60m hurdles. Wilson brought her previous time of 8.76 seconds down to 8.67.
Connor McCue has established a new men's heptathlon school record. McCue's best performances in the heptathlon included a third place finish in the pole vault and a fifth place finish in the 60 meter sprint.
