BOSTON - The Bryant University track and field team took home six medals on the first day of the 2026 America East Indoor Track and Field Championship. The women's team leads the pack after finishing day one with 53.33 points.
Bryant's dynamic duo of Chloe Whiting and Jasmine Trott excelled in the women's 5k. Chloe Whiting earned the gold medal, recording a final time of 16:11.44. Jasmine Trott earned the bronze medal, recording a time of 16:15.54.
Ashley Brule and Allyson Humphries each had valiant performances in the pole vault. Bruce earned the silver medal and recorded a mark of 3.60 meters. Humphries earned the bronze medal while recording a mark of 3.45 meters.
Ella Goulas earned the silver medal in the long jump. Goulas set the all-time school record in the event with a mark of 5.95 meters. This is Goulas' second school record set this indoor season alone.
Georgia Wilson earned the all-time school record in the women's 60m hurdles. Wilson recorded a time of 8.76 during the preliminary round to set the new record.
On the men's side, Kalen Knott won the pole vault gold medal. Knott set the all-time school record with a mark of 5.00 meters. Colby Nyhan and Alexander Campbelll each finished in the top five.
Aaron Barnwell earned a top five placement in the long jump. Barnwell established an all-time school record with a mark of 6.95 meters.
Ryan Bourke earned the all-time school record in the men's 500 meters. Bourke earned a top five placement in the preliminary round with a time of 1:03.89.
