SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Head coach Bianka Bell of the Bryant University softball team announced the additions of Kaden Graham and Lexi Powell to the coaching staff for the upcoming season.

Graham will serve as the Pitching coach, and Powell will be a Graduate Assistant coach.

Graham was an undergraduate at North Carolina and recently graduated in 2026. During his time at UNC, he was a student manager for the softball team. Last season, the Tar Heels went 32-19.

"We're thrilled to welcome Kaden Graham to Smithfield for the 2026-27 season. Kaden will play a key role in the development of our pitching staff, bringing a great knowledge of the game, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping our student-athletes reach their full potential", said coach Bell. "His addition strengthens our staff, and I'm excited to see the impact he'll have on our bullpen and throughout our program this year."

Powell spent the last four years with the Bulldogs, primarily as a pitcher. She posted a career-high six wins last season and threw four complete games, also a career best. Powell recorded her second straight year of 25+ strikeouts and held opponents to a career-high .287 batting average. She threw the first postseason shutout in DI program history against UAlbany in the America East playoffs.

"We're excited to welcome Lexi Powell back to Bryant Softball as our Graduate Assistant Coach. Lexi knows what it means to wear the Bryant jersey and embodies the Bulldog mentality every day," said coach Bell. "Her passion for our program, strong work ethic, and familiarity with our culture will make an immediate impact as we continue to build on the standard we've established. I'm excited to have her back on staff and look forward to the energy and leadership she'll bring to our student-athletes."
