BOSTON -- The Bryant baseball team placed five players on the America East All-Conference teams that were announced on Tuesday afternoon by the league office.
Justin Hackett and
Ellis Garcia were named All-America East First Team, while
Kaden Hilburger,
Carlos Irizarry and
Charlie Saul were named to the second team. Irizarry also earned America East All-Academic honors.
Justin Hackett | First Team All-America East Shortstop
- Becomes the third-straight Bryant shortstop to earn first team honors, joining Chris Einemann (2024) and Drew Wyers (2025). Just the sixth shortstop in DI program history to earn all-conference honors (Einemann, Wyers, Jimmy Titus, Dan Cellucci, Dave Soltis).
- Earns All-America East honors for the first time in his career.
- Enters the postseason hitting .277 with career highs in hits (44), doubles (11), home runs (8), RBI (28), runs scored (29), walks (22) and stolen bases (14).
- Hit .280 with five home runs and 14 RBI in America East play. Posted multi-homer games against UAlbany and at Binghamton.
- Also the league's best defensive shorstop, posting a .969 fielding percentage on the year. Has committed just six errors in 192 chances.
Ellis Garcia | First Team All-America East Third Baseman
- Becomes just the fifth third baseman in DI program history to earn all-conference honors joining Kevin Brown (2013), John Mullen (2014), Zach Wood (2016) and Pat D'Amico (2025).
- Enters the postseason ranked second in the league in average (.342), first in slug (.636), fifth in OBP (.449), first in OPS (1.085), third in hits (63), fifth in RBI (44), sixth in doubles (13), second in triples (4), and fourth in home runs (11).
- Hit .356 with a 1.063 OPS, five home runs and 21 RBI in America East play.
- Got hot in the middle of April, hitting six home runs in a 10-game stretch.
- Enters the playoffs with a .917 fielding percentage.
 Kaden Hilburger | Second Team All-America East Starting Pitcher
- Returned from Tommy John Surgery and stepped into the Friday night role for the Bulldogs to earn all-conference honors for the first time in his career.
- Made 12 starts, going 3-2 with a 4.25 ERA, 15 walks and 38 strikeouts in 59.1 innings.
- In league play, Hilburger went 2-1 with a 3.67 ERA, 10 walks and 22 strikeouts in 41.2 innings. Opponents hit just .239 against him.
- Hilburger closed the regular season with three-straight starts of 8.0 innings, becoming the first Bulldog since Pete Kelich in 2012 to accomplish the feat.
- The stretch included 8.0 scoreless at NJIT. He allowed just seven hits, didn't walk a batter and struck out three.
Carlos Irizarry | Second Team All-America East Second Baseman and America East All-Academic
- Earns all-conference honors for the fourth time in his collegiate career. Irizarry was a three-time All-United East selection in three seasons at Penn State-Harrisburg. He was also named United East Player and Rookie of the Year at PSU-H.
- Enters the postseason hitting .329 with 12 doubles, five home runs, 28 RBI, 35 runs scored, a .907 OPS and 10 stolen bases.
- Hit .286 with a league-leading nine doubles in America East play.
- Currently riding an eight-game hitting streak and is hitting .340 over his last 12 games.
- Has been solid defensively, posting a .966 fielding percentage in 177 chances.
Charlie Saul | Second Team All-America East Outfielder
- Earns second team honors for the second-straight season.
- Enters the postseason hitting .294 with 12 doubles, two triples, seven home runs, 36 RBI, 35 runs scored and 18 stolen bases.
- Hit .299 with a .901 OPS, seven doubles, four home runs and 17 RBI in America East play.
- Saul set Bryant's single-game record for stolen bases (4).
- In leauge play, ranks top 10 in the league in slug, OPS, doubles, home runs and stolen bases.
Fourth-seeded Bryant will face fifth-seeded UMass Lowell in the first of two single-elimination games on day one of the 2026 America East Baseball Championships.
