GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Bryant baseball seniors Ellis Garcia and Aidan Vining were named to the Rawlings/America Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) All-Northeast Region team on Tuesday afternoon.

Garcia was named to the first team as a third baseman, while Vining was selected to the second team as a relief pitcher. The duo become the 30th and 31st players in DI program history to earn Rawlings/ABCA All-Region honors.

A native of Elmwood Park, N.J., Garcia joins Kevin Brown (2013) as the only players in DI program history to earn all-region honors as a third baseman. The honor adds to Garcia's postseason haul that includes First Team All-America East and First Team All-ECAC honors. Garcia finished the season hitting .339 with 1.076 OPS, 11 home runs and 44 RBI, ranking in the top five in the America East in nearly every offensive category.

Vining picks up Rawlings/ABCA All-Region honors for the the fourth-straight year and joins Salvatore Lisanti (2013) and Chris Wright (2019) as the only relief pitchers in DI program history to earn the honor. He was a three-time recipient at Division III Johnson & Wales before notching a 2.08 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP in 15 relief appearances (43.1 innings) in his lone season with the Bulldogs this spring. Vining pitched out of the bullpen every weekend during the season, throwing multiple innings in 13 of his 15 appearances. He allowed one run or less in 12 of the 15 outings and surrendered just 33 hits on the year. Vining threw 5.0 innings of relief on two occassions and worked 3.0+ innings on six occassions.
