SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Three members of the Bryant baseball team earned All-NECBL honors for their performance this summer.
Rising junior
Thomas Galusha was named to the first team, while classmate
Hunter Kingsbury and incoming senior Nik Pavia were named to the second team.Â
Galusha was one of the league's premier relievers this summer, finishing 3-0 and tying for second in the league with six saves. He made 13 relief appearances, allowing just one run on seven htis over 13.0 innings. Galusha struck out 17 and issued just six walks on the summer.
Kingsbury was North Shore's everyday center fielder and finished the summer hitting .272 with eight doubles, four triples, two home runs, 24 RBI and 26 stolen bases in 39 games. He ranked first in the NECBL in triples, seventh in extra-base hits and fifth in stolen bases.
Pavia, who will join the Bulldogs as a transfer from Dayton this fall, made eight starts for North Adams, going 2-4 with a 3.76 ERA and 46 strikeouts in 40.2 innings. He was one of just four pitchers in the league to throw 40+ innings and struck out at least six batters in five of his eight starts.
