Carley Genzer hit a two-run home run and tallied a career-high five RBI in the Bryant University softball team's 10-8 road loss against URI on Wednesday.

- The Bulldogs tied the game at eight in the top of the sixth, and then relinquished the lead, giving up two runs in the bottom half of the inning (10-8).
How it Happened
- In the top of the first inning, Gabriella Gesualdo drew a walk, followed by back-to-back singles from Bryce Clendenin and Teagan Thompson to load the bases. Three-straight bases-loaded walks brought in the first runs of the game.(3-0).
- In the bottom half of the inning, the Rams tallied two runs on a bases-loaded walk and sacrifice fly (3-2).
- Clendenin hit a single and Thompson reached on an error in the top of the second with two outs. Genzer then launched a three-run home run to right field (6-2).
- URI scored a run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the second (6-3).
- In the bottom of the fourth, URI tied the game at six with a double, triple, and wild pitch.
- The Rams took the lead in the bottom of the fifth on a two-run home run (8-6).
- The Bulldogs drew back-to-back walks, leading to a Gesualdo RBI single (8-7). Bryant then recorded two more walks, tying the game at eight in the top of the sixth inning.
- In the bottom of the sixth, URI tallied two runs on a ground out and single (10-8).
