BOSTON - Chloe Whiting of the Bryant University track and field team was announced as the America East Female Track Athlete of the Week by the organization this afternoon.

Chloe Whiting earned an all time school record at the John Thomas Terrier Classic in the women's 5k. Whiting finished in first place with a time of 16:05.69 out of 91 student-athletes.

This is Whiting's first Player of the Week honor this indoor season.

The Black and Gold will make their next appearance at the UMass Lowell Riverhawk Invite this Friday and Saturday.
