BASEBALL ADDS FRANKLIN JENNINGS TO COACHING STAFF

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Bryant baseball head coach Ryan Klosterman announced the addition of Franklin Jennings to the coaching staff for the upcoming 2026 season.

A native of Montgomery, N.Y., Jennings takes over for Will Kaufman who left the program to take an assistant coaching position at Charlotte. Jennings will work with the hitters and outfielders, while also being a key contributor to Bryant's recruiting efforts.

"Franklin is a tremendous person and leader," Klosterman said. "He's a proven winner whose joy for the game is infectious. I really admired coaching against him in the past and appreciate the passion and care he displays towards his players."

Jennings comes to Smithfield from George Washington but has a great familiarity with Bryant and the Northeast. A 2017 graduate of Central Connecticut, Jennings spent four years competing against the Bulldogs on the field before spending four seasons (2019-22) as an assistant coach with the Blue Devils. He then spent two seasons at Army before joining the Revolutionaries for the 2025 season.

"I've had the chance to watch Bryant Baseball from the outside looking in for the last 12 years. The growth and expectations set year in and year out are a standard I can't wait to meet," Jennings said. "I am absolutely ecstatic to join a winning culture that excellence continually flows through."
