Cronin elevated to Associate Head Coach

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Bryant baseball pitching coach Tim Cronin has been promoted to Associate Head Coach for the upcoming 2026 season, head coach Ryan Klosterman announed on Friday.

Cronin will be entering his fourth year on Klosterman's staff and has developed one of the best pitching staffs in the league while helping the Black and Gold claim back-to-back America East Regular Season Championships.

Under Cronin's watch, the Bryant pitching staff has led the league in strikeout-to-walk ratio and strikeouts/9 in two of the last three seasons and tied the America East single-season record for strikeouts with 475 in 2025. Bryant ranked 43rd nationally with a 4.74 ERA this past spring, its lowest since 2021, and has ranked in the top 80 in K/9 twice in Cronin's three seasons.

In three seasons, Cronin has coached seven all-conference selections, one rookie of the year and has had two of his pitchers drafted. Cronin has worked his magic with Bryant's weekend rotation the last two years, completely remodeling it each season. The result has been five of six weekend starters earning All-America East honors and rookie Michael Belcher claiming America East Rookie of the Year honors this past spring.
