BASEBALL ANNOUNCES 2026 SCHEDULE

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Bryant baseball head coach Ryan Klosterman announced the 2026 schedule on Monday afternoon. The Bulldogs are scheduled to open the season on February 13 with a three-game series at Davidson.

Bryant's 54-game slate also includes early season trips to ACC member Clemson, Radford and Big Ten member Rutgers. The Black and Gold are the two-time defending America East Regular Season champions and have posted 36 wins in each of the last two seasons. 

SCHEDULE HIGHLIGHTS
  • The second weekend of the season wiill take the Bulldogs to Clemson, S.C., for a three-game set with the Tigers. It will be a homecoming for head coach Ryan Klosterman who began his collegiate career at Clemson.
  • Bryant will see an familar face during the fourth weekend of the season as it travels to New Jersey to take on Rutgers, led by recent Bryant Athletics Hall of Fame inductee Steve Owens
  • The Black and Gold open America East play with a tough test, traveling to defending tournament champion Binghamton.
  • Bryant will host league series against NJIT, UAlbany, Binghamton and UMBC.
The Black and Gold kickoff the season in Davidson for the second-straight year and will be playing the Wildcats for the fourth time in five seasons. Bryant is scheduled to host Merrimack in its home opener on Feb. 17 before heading back south for a three-game set at Clemson. The Bulldogs will host both URI (Feb. 24) and Merrimack (Mar. 3) in midweek contests, while traveling to Radford and Rutgers for non-conference series. Bryant and Radford will be meeting for the first time since 2014, while the Bulldogs and Scarlet Knights will play for the first time in program history.

Following its weekend set at Rutgers, the Bulldogs head to Binghamton to open America East play on Mar. 13. Bryant follows with a non-conference series with former Northeast Conference rival Sacred Heart and then hosts its first America East series of the year when NJIT comes to town on Mar. 27. Binghamton and NJIT are Bryant's two repeat opponents this year and the Bulldogs will host the Bearcats on Apr. 17 and visit NJIT on May 1.

Bryant will also host conference home series against UAlbany (Apr. 10-12) and UMBC (May 9-11). The Black and Gold will play road series at Maine (Apr. 3-5) and UMass Lowell (Apr. 24-26).

The Black and Gold's midweek schedule features a home-and-homes with Holy Cross (Mar. 17 and Apr. 29), URI (Feb. 24, Mar. 25 and Apr. 14), Brown (Mar. 31 and Apr. 21) and Stonehill (Mar. 10 and May 12). Bryant will host regional rival UConn for the first time since 2022 when the Huskies come to Conaty Park on Apr. 7. Bryant closes the year with a non-conference series at Marist.

The 2026 America East Baseball Championships will be held at the Bearcat Baseball Complex on the campus of Binghamton University in Vestal, N.Y. from May 27-30.
