SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's basketball team announced their 29-game schedule for the 2024-25 season, which includes 13 non-conference games and 16 America East contests.
The Bulldogs begin the year with back-to-back home games against Merrimack (Nov. 4) and Bridgewater State (Nov. 8).
The Black and Gold then hit the riad where they will face CCSU (Nov. 12), Rider (Nov. 15), Seton Hall (Nov. 16), and Cornell (Nov. 19) in a seven-day stretch.
Bryant then returns to the Chace Athletic Center to host Stonehill (Nov. 22), before taking the short trip to Chestnut Hill, Mass, to face the Eagles of Boston College on November 26
th.
The Bulldogs will then have back-to-back home games versus Yale and Marist on Dec. 7
th and 10
th. The Black and Gold will conclude their non-conference schedule with a tournament hosted by FDU where they will face former Northeast Conference foe FDU (Dec. 28) and Coppin State (Dec. 29). The last time Bryant faced FDU the teams squared off in the NEC semi-finals, where the Black and Gold came out victoruious to advance to the Championships.
The Black and Gold begin conference play with three straight road games against UNH (Jan. 2), Maine (Jan. 4), and Vermont (Jan. 11).
Bryant hosts its first AE opponent on January 16
th, welcoming UAlbany. Then, they head to the Bay State to face UMass Lowell (Jan. 18).
The Bulldogs will take a trip up north to clash with Binghamton (Jan. 25) before hosting consecutive games in Smithfield against UMBC (Jan. 30) and NJIT (Feb. 1).
The Black and Gold then return to N.Y. to face UAlbany (Feb. 6), followed by a home game versus Binghamton (Feb. 8).
Bryant plays the final two road games of the regular season in succession against NJIT (Feb. 13) and UMBC (Feb. 15).
The Bulldogs conclude the regular season with three straight home games where they will face UVM (Feb. 20), UML (Feb. 27), and Maine (Mar. 1).
The Black and Gold finished the 2023-24 season with a 15-15 overall record and a conference record of 8-8, which saw the Bulldogs host their first playoff game in ten years in Coach Kokoski's first year at the helm.
