BOSTON, MASS. - Izzy Adams of the Bryant University women's basketball team was named the America East Rookie of the Week by the organization on Monday afternoon.

Adams had back-to-back 10+ point performances as the Bulldogs went 2-0 to begin conference play. Adams tallied 10 points, five boards, and hit two from deep in the win against UNH. She followed that with 14 points, five boards, and a career-high six assists in the victory against the Black Bears. She now has four 10+ point performances this season, and four games with multiple three-pointers. 

In her last four games, Adams is averaging 11.2 ppg, 3.5 apg, 4.7 rpg, and is shooting 50% (6-12) from beyond the arc. This is Adams' first AE Rookie of the Week in her career.
