Box Score ORONO, ME. – Makenna Coleman hit a solo home run in the Bryant Univeristy softball team's 7-4 victory against Maine in an elimination game on Thursday.
Aleix Hudson recorded a two-RBI single, and Kylie Kenney tallied five strikeouts and held the Black Bears hitless through three innings.
The Black and Gold tallied their 33rd win and will face UMass Lowell at 1:30 PM on Friday.

How it Happened
- Coleman hit a leadoff home run to left center in the top of the first inning (1-0).
- In the bottom of the third, Olyvia Smith drew a walk and stole second followed by a Coleman walk and Olivia Fee single to load the bases. Hudson then hit an RBI single to left field, scoring two (3-0). Sam Rohwer then hit an RBI single to add a run, and the Bulldogs tallied two more runs on a wild pitch and bases-loaded walk (7-0).
- Maine scored a run in the top of the fifth off of a solo home run (7-1).
- In the top of the sixth, the Black Bears scored a run on a single up the middle (7-2).
- During the top of the seventh inning, Maine tallied two runs off of a groundout and a single before Lexi Powell came into the game and recorded the final two outs to secure the 7-4 victory.
