Box Score 2 NEW HAVEN, CONN. – The Bryant University softball team won both games against Yale during a Tuesday afternoon doubleheader by scores of 14-7 and 8-6.
Alexis Clancy had two home runs and five RBIs in the game, one victory, becoming the first player in DI program history to hit two home runs in the same inning.
Aleix Hudson posted a home run, triple, and three RBIs in the second victory.

How it Happened (GM1)
- In the bottom of the first, Yale brought home two runs on a double to right-center (2-0).
- Clancy hit a lead solo HR to right-center (2-1). Sam Rohwer and Megan Marcel then hit back-to-back singles, and a run was scored on a Yale error to tie the game at two in the top of the second inning.
- Smith and Hannah Cochran hit consecutive singles, with Cochrans giving the Black and Gold the lead (3-2). Bryant tallied another run in the inning from an error (4-2), followed by an RBI single from Hudson, bringing home two runs (6-2).
- Clancy then came up to bat in the same inning and launched a three-run home run to deep right-center, giving Bryant a 9-2 lead. The Bulldogs tallied their tenth and final run of the inning on a bunt single by Smith (10-2).
- Yale scored three runs in the bottom of the third on a double and sacrifice fly (10-5).
- Hudson began the top of the fifth with a double, followed by an RBI double from Alexis Larrow (11-5). Alyssa Garrabedian stole third as a pinch-runner, and then Clancy singled to left field, tallying Bryant's 12th run of the game (12-5).

How it Happened (GM2)
- Cochran hit a leadoff single in the top of the first, stole second base, and then Valenzuela doubled to right field (1-0).
- Garabedian hit a one-out double to right field and then stole third base before Smith and Cochran hit an RBI double and single to earn a 3-0 lead in the top of the second.
- Cochran then stole second, and Valenzuela was walked, setting up Hudson, who hit a triple to center field, scoring two runs (5-0). Rohwer then singled, bringing Hudson home, and Marcel knocked a double, scoring Rohwer and giving the Black and Gold a 7-0 advantage.
- Yaled scored three runs in the bottom of the third courtesy of a single, double, and sacrifice fly (7-3).
- Hudson crushed a leadoff home run to left field in the top of the fourth inning (8-3).
- Yale scored a fourth run on a sac-fly in the bottom of the fifth inning (8-4).
