SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University baseball team faces the Longwood Lancers in a three-game series this weekend in Farmville, Va.
Weather has forced a change in the schedule and the two teams will now play a doubleheader starting at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The final game of the series takes place Sunday. All three games will be broadcasted on ESPN+

Bryant vs. Longwood
- Bryant and Longwood will be meeting again for the first time since 2004. The last time these teams faced off Longwood won the series 2-1. The three games had plenty of runs, with 43 runs scored throughout the whole series.
Bulldog Notes and Notables
- Bryant returns to action after getting swept in a three-game series at Old Dominion. The Bulldogs got outscored 31-13 in the series but will look to bounce back.
- The Bulldogs swept East Carolina opening weekend. It was the first time Bryant, or an NEC team had swept a nationally ranked opponent.
- Logan Allen leads the team with eleven hits on a batting average of .324 and slugging percentage of .382. He also leads the team in runs scored with eight and adds on three stolen bases as well.
- Over the weekend, Matt Woods led the team with four hits and five RBIs, while Randy Carlo homered in the Bulldogs third game of the series
