BRYANT UPDATE

THE GAME
The Bryant women's basketball team hosts No. 15 Stonehill College Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m. in a Northeast-10 Conference game at the Chace Athletic Center. Today's matchup marks the first of two regular-season meetings between the Bulldogs and the Skyhawks this year.

FAMILIAR FOES
The Bulldogs and the Skyhawks have met 57 times entering the 2007-08 season and Stonehill holds the 42-15 (.737) advantage. Bryant has lost four of the last five contests to the Skyhawks and haven't topped Stonehill since an 81-68 road win on Jan. 8, 2005. The Skyhawks swept the last two season series, and with an undefeated record in 2007-08 are in sole possession of the top spot in the NE-10.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bulldogs defeated Southern New Hampshire, 61-46, on the road Saturday afternoon behind a game-high 19 points from sophomore forward Kelsey O'Keefe.

* Bryant is 2-1 at home this season with wins over UMass Lowell and Bentley and a loss to Franklin Pierce. Last year, the Bulldogs were 12-3 inside the friendly confines of the Chace Center, with their losses coming to SNHU, Pace and today's foe, Stonehill.

* Senior captain Lynne-Ann Kokoski sits at No. 4 in all-time assists for Bryant women's basketball with 207 dishes and No. 8 in steals with 102. Her 162 made free throws rank her ninth all-time and her 250 attempts from the line put her seventh.

* In just her second season as a Bulldog, Kelsey O'Keefe has already cracked the top-10 in career field goals made (10th/188), 3-pointers made (T-8th/33), 3-pointers attempted (T-7th/136) and blocked shots (8th/23), and her current numbers rank her in the top-10 in scoring average (2nd/13.9 ppg), field goal percentage (2nd/.464) and rebounding average (3rd/6.8).

* Sophomore Adrianne Mayshar's 20 blocked shots ranks her right behind O'Keefe at ninth all-time for the Bulldogs.

* Stonehill is one of two NE-10 teams currently ranked in the USA TODAY/ESPN Division II Coaches' Poll. Southern Connecticut sits at No. 10 with a 6-2 record (4-2 NE-10), down from its Week 2 ranking of No. 8, while Stonehill upped its stock from No. 22 to No. 15.
