WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ANNOUNCES 2026-27 SCHEDULE

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University women's basketball announced the schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 season on Tuesday. The slate is highlighted by games against METRO opponents for the inaugural America East/METRO Challenge, as well as the Big East, ACC, and Ivy League.

The Bulldogs are coming off a stellar 2025-26 season, in which they went 18-12, marking the third consecutive year of 15+ wins. The 18 wins were the most since 2016. Last season also saw the Black and Gold get off to their best start in DI program history at 7-0 and earn their first-ever Power Four victory with an 80-71 road win at Boston College. This was the third straight year Bryant secured at least eight conference wins. 

Lynne-Ann Kokoski enters her fourth season as head coach and has produced a 50-40 record (.555 win pct) and a 30-14 (.681 win pct) home record. Bryant is 25-13 (.657 win pct) in Smithfield against conference opponents and 15-3 (.833 win pct) under coach Kokoski.

Schedule Highlights
  • The Black and Gold will begin the 2026 season at home for the fourth consecutive season.
  • Bryant will face ACC member BC for the fourth consecutive year and the first matchup since the Bulldogs' victory last season.
  • The Bulldogs will participate in the inaugural AE/Metro Challenge with matchups against Marist and Manhattan.
  • Bryant renews its rivalry with PC, which will be the tenth game between the two teams.
  • This will be the first matchup between the Bulldogs and Northeastern.
  • The Black and Gold will have six non-conference games at the Chace Athletic Center: MIT (Nov. 2), Marist (Nov. 5), Stonehill (Nov. 24), Boston University (Nov. 29), Merrimack (Dec. 8), and Brown (Dec. 21).
The Black and Gold begin the year with back-to-back home games against MIT (Nov. 2) and Marist (Nov. 5), before playing four straight road games versus Manhattan (Nov. 8), PC (Nov. 11), Holy Cross (Nov. 16), and Northeastern (Nov. 21). Bryant will then return to Smithfield for a three-game home stand against Stonehill (Nov. 24), Boston University (Nov. 29), and Merrimack (Dec. 8). The Bulldogs then travel to BC (Dec. 10) and CCSU (Dec. 13), before finishing out of conference play with a home game versus Brown (Dec. 21).

Bryant begins AE play with two road games against UNH (Dec. 31) and Maine (Jan. 2). The Bulldogs will then welcome UAlbany (Jan. 7) and UML (Jan. 9) to Smithfield before traveling to Baltimore (Jan. 14). The Black and Gold will end the month of January with home games against UVM (Jan. 16) and UNH, and road matchups versus NJIT (Jan. 21) and Binghamton (Jan. 30).

The Bulldogs begin February with a home game against UMBC (Feb. 4), followed by consecutive road games at UVM (Feb. 6) and UAlbany (Feb. 11). Bryant concludes the regular season with three out of four games in Smithfield. They will face Maine (Feb. 18), Binghamton (Feb. 20), and NJIT (Feb. 27), and a road game at UML (Feb. 25)
