#4 Bryant Softball Splits With Le Moyne; Register Third Consecutive 25+ Win Season

Bulldogs Finish Season With School Record 23 Conference Wins

The fourth ranked Bulldogs split a pair of games this afternoon with Le Moyne in Syracuse, New York. Bryant took game one, 3-1, but fell in game two by the score of 3-1. Bryant finishes the season 25-15 overall and 23-5 in the NE-10. This marks the third straight season the team has registered at least 25 wins. The 23 wins in conference play is a school record.

In Game One, Le Moyne scored in the home half of the first on an RBI single by junior Kristen DesLauriers (Liverpool, NY). Junior Lindsay Spaziani (Horseheads, NY) led of the inning with a single and moved to second on a sac bunt.

The Bulldogs would tie the game at 1-1 in the top of the fourth on an RBI single by junior Lauren McNiff (Westford, MA). McNiff would put Bryant on top 3-1 in the top of the sixth with a two-run homerun over the left field fence. This was Lauren's first career homerun.

Bulldog sophomore Janine Enos (Wareham, Mass.) went the distance for the 15th time this season and earned her 11 victory, which is one shy of the single season record. Enos gave up just three hits and one earned run on the afternoon. She finishes the regular season with a stingy 1.98 ERA.

In Game Two, the Bulldogs would be held scoreless as they managed to only get three base hits. Junior Martha Senko (Pine City, NY) tossed a complete game three-hitter striking out six Bulldogs in picking up the win for Le Moyne.

The Dolphins scored their first run of the game in the bottom of the fourth on an RBI single by freshman Caitlin O'Neil (Pittsford, NY). O'Neil finished the game 3-3 with an RBI. Le Moyne would add two more runt in the bottom of the sixth on a leadoff homerun by Kristen DesLauriers (Liverpool, NY) and an RBI single by senior Ashley Anderson (Liverpool, NY).

Junior Lindsay Connor (West Haven, CT) led the Bulldog attack going 2-3 with a pair of singles.

Bryant will host a first round Northeast-10 Conference Tournament game on Friday May 5, at 3:00pm.
