with three runs scored as the Bryant University softball team took
game one of a Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader with Stonehill

Stonehill jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the

Grenache (Leominster,

in the inning.
But the Bulldogs would rally back, scoring five times in the
second as Valentini got things started with a double to right and
came across to score on a single by Lindsey Connor
(West Haven,
Conn.). Jordan
Dargon (Trumbull,
Conn.) had a big two-run double
to help key the rally.
The Bulldogs would take a 10-3 lead into the seventh and
withstood a three-run seventh to pull out the win.
Nikki Ingalls
(Westford,
Mass.) earned the win, going 6
and 2/3 innings allowing just six hits and striking out four.
Amanda Wilbur

Mass.) hit her fourth home run of
the season for the Bulldogs. Folan, Young and Grenache all
had three hits for the Skyhawks with Grenache driving in three runs
on the afternoon.
In game two, Bryant scored four times in the first and added two
more in the second to pull away for an 8-0 win. The Bulldogs
