BOSTON- Freshman Natalie Persson was named America East Female Freshman of the Week for Week 3, announced Monday, September 21.

Persson won the UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational 6K Gold race last Saturday, with a time of 21:20.2. It is Persson's first individual win of the season, and second top five finish in just three races so far this year. Persson finished fourth overall in the Adelphi Invitational on September 4.
