BOSTON- Senior Kelley MacElhiney and freshman Seb Melero were named to the Week 2 America East Cross Country Awards, announced Monday September, 14.

MacElhiney was named Female Performer of the Week, while Melero was named Male Rookie of the Week.

MacElhiney was honored after her second-place finish at the Shawn. M. Nassaney Invitational. Her time 5K time of 18:08.2 helped the Bryant Women's team win the event for the second straight year.

Melero wins Male Rookie of the Week after his seventh-place finish, posting a 5K time of 15:29.9.

Bryant travels to North Darthmouth, Mass. for the UMass Darthmouth Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, September 19^th.
