BOSTON -- Bryant field hockey senior
Callie Caito was named to the Preseason All-America East team, the league announced on Tuesday.
In addition to the 12-member preseason team, the league also announced the preseason poll that is features a tie between Vermont and UAlbany for the top spot. UMass Lowell, Maine, New Hampshire and Bryant round out the field.
Caito enters her senior season as Bryant's top returning scorer with 10 goals and 25 points in 50 career games. She scored a career-high six goals last fall, earning All-America East Second Team honors. After going scoreless in 14 games as a freshman in 2023, Caito has record 25 points in 36 games (0.69 ppg) over the last two seasons.
Bryant is slated to open the 2026 season on August 28 at Quinnipiac.
