SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Head coach
Lynne-Ann Kokoski announced the addition of seven players in the summer for the upcoming 2026-27 season. The Bulldogs signed three freshmen and four transfers.
"We are thrilled to welcome our newest Bulldogs. We graduated some key components but return a solid core and believe this group will help us continue on our quest to win a conference championship", said coach Kokoski. "We can't wait for them to get to campus and to get to work".
Transfers Genevieve Wedemeyer, Ndate Ndiaye, Astou Ndiaye, and Cameron McNamara will join the Black and Gold for the upcoming season, along with freshmen Sammie Sullivan, Aliyah Brame, and Natalie Chisi.
TRANSFERS
Genevieve Wedemeyer | Hamburg, Germany | Senior | Guard (Siena)
- Wedemeyer spent last season at Siena, where she appeared in 20 games, making 19 starts.
- The guard had ten double-figure scoring games.
- Wedemeyer averaged 1.3 steals per game, including a career-high six takeaways at Niagara.Â
Ndate Ndiaye | Thies, Senegal | Junior | Guard (FIU)
- Ndate Ndiaye was at FIU for the last two seasons.
- The guard played in 42 career games for the Panthers and appeared in 25 last season.
- She posted four games of 10+ points, including a career-high 15 points against Florida National.Â
Astou Ndiaye | Theis, Senegal | Sophomore | Forward (FIU)
- Astou Ndiaye was also at FIU for her freshman year during the 2025-26 season.
- The forward appeared in nine games, having two games of three-plus boards and producing two games of multiple steals.
Cameron McNamara | Fort Pierce, Fla. | Senior | Forward (Highland CC)
- McNamara is a junior college transfer from Highland Community College.
- The forward averaged 20 points per game, 7.7 rebounds per game, 67 total blocks, and 94 total steals.
- Last season, she recorded the third career triple-double in program history (26 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 steals) and surpassed 1,000 career points.
- She was named the KJCCC Division II Tournament MVP and was a NJCAA First-Team All-American.
FRESHMEN
Sammie Sullivan | Londonderry, NH. | Freshman | Guard | Londonderry HS
- Sullivan was a four-year varsity player at Londonderry High School.
- Last season, the guard helped her team win a championship.
- Named the NHIAA Division IÂ Player of the Year, NH Max Preps Player of the Year, Ms. NH, and Jac Ford Player of the Year.
- Sullivan was named a team captain three times and was also a three-time member of the First Team All-State team.
- As a senior, she averaged 17 ppg, shooting 50% from the field and 35% from deep.
Aliyah Brame | Bethlehem, Pa. | Freshman | Guard | Bethlehem Catholic HS
- Brame played four years of varsity basketball at Bethlehem Catholic High School.
- The guard was a four-time district champion and was named to both the Conference and All-Area first teams.
- She helped her team to three 20+ win seasons.
Natalie Chisi | Perth, Australia | Freshman | Guard | La Salle College & Middle Swan
- Chisi played in the Associated Catholic Colleges league in Australia.
- She is a three-time ACC All-Star and was also voted team captain for three consecutive seasons.
- The guard is a two-time MVP and was awarded ACC Letters, which are given to a three-time All-Star.
- She was the first to receive letters in basketball and the first to do so since 2014.
