Bryant vs. Marist

• Bryant is 2-0 all-time vs Marist. The Bulldogs picked up victories over the Red Foxes in 2010 and 2011.
• In 2011, the Bulldogs grabbed a 3-1 victory on a snowy afternoon in Smithfield. 

Bulldog Notes and Notables

• Bryant enters the weekend at 27-22 overall following a midweek victory over Stonehill on Tuesday. The Bulldogs defeated the Skyhawks, 11-1.
• The Bulldogs are 13-14 in their last 27 games and finished the year 14-7 at Conaty Park.
• The Bulldogs rank seventh in the nation in stolen bases (141) and seventh in stolen bases per game (2.88). The national leader is Northeastern with 192 total and 3.84 per game. The America East record for stolen bases is 145 set by Northeastern in 1991.
• The Black and Gold feature four players with 10+ stolen bases led by Casey Wensley's 30. Hunter Kingsbury (19), Gavin Greger (19) and Charlie Saul (17) all have 15+ stolen bases.

• Ellis Garcia enters the weekend ranked second in the league in average (.343), first in slug (.635), first in OPS (1.083), T-1st in hits (62), 3rd in RBI (44), 3rd in home runs (11) and 5th in walks (33). 
• Casey Wensley joined Carl Anderson as the only players in DI program history to steal 30+ bases in a single season. Wensley is one shy of tying Anderson's record of 31 from 2014. 
• Wensley also continues to lead the league in hits (62) and runs scored (55). His 55 runs scored are tied for the seventh-most in a single season in DI program history.
• Gavin Greger has enjoyed a strong showing the last two weeks, bumping his average to .319 entering the final weekend of the season. He is 19-of-36 with four XBH, six RBI, eight runs scored over the last nine games.
• Carlos Irizarry is second on the team in hitting at .329, entering Friday with 12 doubles and 35 runs scored. 
• Justin Hackett is hitting .441 (15-34) with five doubles, two home runs, 10 RBI and 10 runs scored over the last nine games. Hackett has also played a smooth shortstop, posting a .973 fielding percentage on the year.

Scouting the Red Foxes

• Marist enters the weekend at 21-28 overall and 17-13 in the MAAC. The Red Foxes are currently in playoff position but will have their fate determined based on results from the rest of the league.
• Nathan Lincoln leads the team with a .344 average, 49 RBI and 33 runs scored.
• AJ Brotz has 13 doubles, while Noel Rivera has 30 RBI, 47 runs scored and 23 stolen bases.
• Andrew Speranza (32.1 IP, 35H, 20BB, 44SO) and Andrew Fierro (43.2 IP, 63H, 18BB, 47SO) are the top two arms out of the Marist bullpen.
