Box Score PROVIDENCE – Brown scored nine times in the first three innings on its way to a 10-0 victory over the Bryant baseball team on Tuesday afternoon at Murray Stadium.
With their first midweek loss of the season, the Bulldogs fall to 16-10 overall. Bryant heads to Maine for an America East series beginning on Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.

How it Happened
- Brown struck for four runs in the first inning. A walk and a HBP started the game and a double plated the first run. A sac fly scored the second run and Alex Benevento beat the throw home on a ground ball to short for the third run. Christian Butera made it 4-0 with a solo home run to left.
- The Bears extended their lead with three two-out runs in the second on a two-run single from Dillehay and a single from Peterson.
- Brown made it 9-0 with a pair of runs in the third.
- The Bulldogs put two on in the fourth but the Brown left fielder made a great grab crashing into the wall to start an inning-ending 7-6-4 double play.
- Bryant then loaded the bases with one out in the fifth but couldn't push a run across.
- Brown ended the game early with a RBI single in the bottom of the eighth.
