The series continues on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and concludes Sunday with a 1:00 p.m. first pitch. All three games will be streamed on ESPN+.

- Kaden Hilburger will get the ball on Friday for the third-straight weekend. He shined in his return from Tommy John at Davidson, striking out six over 3.0 hitless and scoreless innings in his first collegiate start. At Clemson, Hilburger struck out three over 1.2 innings but was victimized by a pair of home runs.
- Dylan Scudder will be making his third-straight start and has allowed nine runs on 10 hits over 6.1 innings. He allowed four runs on seven hits over 2.2 innings last week at Clemson.
- Jackson Vanesko logged the longest outing for a starter this year at Clemson, allowing two runs on four hits over 4.0 innings. Vanesko rebounded from a first-inning home run to allow just two hits over his final 3.0 innings.
- Ladd, Costello and Steinhaus have all started for Radford in the first two weekends. Ladd has returned from injury to fire 5.0 scoreless innings with eight strikeouts over his first two starts.
- Costello has allowed nine runs on nine hits over 9.0 innings. He allowed six runs on five hits last weekend vs Bucknell.
- Steinhaus is 1-1 with a 2.45 ERA over 11.0 innings. He has walked three and struck out 12, including seven over 5.0 innings last weekend.
Bryant vs. Radford
- Radford leads the all-time series 4-3. This matchup dates back to 2009 when the teams met in a single game. They played weekend series in 2012 and 2014.
- In 2012, Bryant won the opening game of the series, 5-3, as Bryant Hall of Famer Peter Kelich outpitched future first rounder Eddie Butler.
- In 2014, Radford won the series with a pair of 11-inning victories.
Bulldog Notes and Notables
- Bryant enters the weekend at 2-4 overall after being swept by No. 19 Clemson last weekend. The Bulldogs fell 9-3, 5-3 and 7-5.
- Bryant scored six of its 11 runs in the seventh inning or later in the series. In game one, Bryant tied the game with two runs in the seventh before Clemson scored six in the eighth. Bryanta then brought the tying run to the plate in eighth in game two and had the tying runs on base in the ninth in game three.
- Ellis Garcia had another strong weekend for the Bulldogs, going 3-for-10 with three walks, a triple, a home run and three RBI. He is now hitting .391 (9-23) with five RBI.
- Charlie Saul extended his hitting streak to 10 games dating back to last year, going 4-for-12 with three runs scored in the series. He's hitting .346 (9-26) with a team-leading nine RBI.
- Casey Wensley (.364) is Bryant's only other player hitting over .300 in the first two weeks of the season.
- Bryant pitching held its own last weekend at Clemson. Landon White highlighted the weekend with 3.0 scoreless innings of relief on Friday. Thomas Galusha retired all five batters he faced on Sunday and Aidan Vining retired 8-of-9 he faced on Saturday.
Scouting the Highlanders
- Radford is 5-2 on the year after picking up series wins over Iona and Bucknell.
- The Highlanders are hitting .248 with 15 doubles, three triples and four home runs through seven games. They are averaging 6.6 runs per game.
- On the mound, Radford has posted a 3.09 ERA, striking out 61 and issuing just 18 walks and only 59 hits in 64.0 innings.
- Brady Powell leads the team with eight RBI, while Devin Parks is hitting a team-best .345.
- Daniel Quintana has been marvelous in his two relief outings, tossing 10.0 scoreless innings and allowing just seven hits.
