BOSTON -- Bryant baseball senior right hander Landon White was named the America East Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.

White tossed 3.0 scoreless innings of relief against No. 19 Clemson on Friday night. He allowed one hit, walked two and struck out four. White's effort opened the door for Bryant to tie the game at 3-3 with two runs in the top of the seventh inning. In his last inning of work, White induced an inning-ending double play to send the game to the eighth tied at 3-3.

Bryant returns to the diamond this weekend, traveling to Radford, Va., for a three-game series with the Highlanders. The series opens Friday at 3:00 p.m.
