Probable Starting Pitchers

Wednesday - TBA vs TBA

• Trey Deitelbaum has started each of Bryant's last two midweek games and is likely to start on Wednesday.
• He threw 3.0 scoreless innings two weeks ago vs URI before two runs (one earned) on two hits over 1.2 innings at Sacred Heart last week.
• Deitelbaum is 1-3 with an 8.18 ERA in 11.0 innings. He has walked 10 and struck out 10.

Bryant vs. Stonehill

• Bryant and Stonehill are meeting for the first game of a home-and-home series that wraps up on May 13 when the Skyhawks come to Smithfield.
• The Bulldogs and Skyhawks have split four previous meetings. Last year, Stonehill earned 5-3 and 16-5 victories, while Bryant earned a 10-9 win.

• Bryant picked up its second America East sweep of the season as it took all three games at UAlbany last weekend. The Bulldogs won 7-4 on Friday and then swept a Sunday doubleheader, 5-3 and 17-4.
• In game one, Bryant built a 4-0 lead before UAlbany tied the game. Pat D'Amico broke the tie with a three-run home run in the top of the eighth.
• On Sunday, a two-out throwing error in the top of the seventh inning allowed three runs to score and breake a 1-1 tie.
• Bryant closed out the sweep with six home runs in a 17-4 victory. Zac Zyons homered twice and drove in five runs.
• Zyons went 5-for-12 with a double and three home runs in the series. He drove in seven and scored five times.

• Bryant is 22-16-1 overall entering the week. The Bulldogs have won 11-of-12 and are 11-2 in the month of April.
• The Bulldogs have hit 90 doubles and 44 home runs this year. Bryant ranks in the top 25 nationally with 2.30 doubles per game. 
• In April, the Black are hitting .294 with 21 home runs. 
• Drew Wyers has reached safely in 21-straight games and enters the week ranked second in the AE in average (.384), second in slugging (.686), first in OBP (.500) and first in OPS (1.186). Wyers has 30 RBI on the year.

• Gavin Noriega leads the Bulldogs with 14 doubles and 40 RBI. He has 40+ RBI for the third time in his career.
• Noriega (17), Matt D'Amato (15), Zyons (15), D'Amico (13) and Gavin Greger (11) all have double-digit on-base streaks entering the week. Greger has hit safely in each of his last 11 games.
• Bryant's pitching staff leads the America East with a 4.88 ERA. Bryant has struck out 332 batters in 326.2 innings.

Scouting the Skyhawks

• Stonehill is 15-23 overall and 14-7 in the Northeast Conference. The Skyhawks swept Delaware State last weekend, closing out the series with a 26-10 victory.
• The Skyhawks, who will play Merrimack on Tuesday, is 0-5 in midweek games. 
• Stonehill is hitting .269 with 61 home runs as a team. The Skyhawks have a 8.22 team ERA.
• Jack Thorbahn, who killed the Bulldogs last year, leads the team with 12 home runs. Tyler Gaspar (9), Aidan Cohall (9) and Grayson Sparr (8) all have 8+ home runs. Sparr leads the team with 40 RBI.
