SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Bryant University softball head coach
Bianka Bell announced the 2026 schedule on Thursday afternoon. The Bulldogs will begin the 2026 season in College Station, Texas with the Aggie Classic hosted by Texas A&M.
Bryant's 53-game schedule is highlighted by four consecutive tournaments hosted by Texas A&M, North Carolina, Delaware, and Virginia Tech.
The Black and Gold kick off the season in Texas for the Aggie Classic, where they will face ACU, Providence, and host Texas A&M (Feb. 6-8). The Bulldogs then stay south and head to Chapel Hill for the Carolina Classic. Bryant will face Monmouth, Northern Kentucky, and the Tar Heels (Feb. 13-15). The Black and Gold continue the tournament grind, with the Blue Hen Invitational in Newark. Bryant will compete against LeMoyne, Quinnipiac, and host Delaware (Feb. 27 - Mar. 1). The Bulldogs will then head to Blacksburg, Virginia, to compete in a tournament hosted by Virginia Tech (Mar. 6-8). Bryant will then face Mercer in Macon, Georgia, for a three-game series before heading back to the Ocean State.
Bryant will make their home debut at Conaty Park with a double-header versus Yale on Mar. 18. The Bulldogs then begin America East Play by welcoming UMBC to Smithfield (Mar. 21-22), and then conclude their six-game home stand with a match up against Providence (Apr. 1).
The Black and Gold then make the short trip to the Bay State for a three-game series against UMass Lowell (Apr. 3-4), before facing interstate rival URI in Kingston (Apr. 8). The Bulldogs will then have a rematch of last year's AE Championship as they welcome Binghamton for a three-game series at Conaty Park (Apr. 11-12).Â
Bryant will then play five consecutive road games against UConn (Apr. 15), UAlbany (Apr.18-19), and Boston College (Apr. 21). The Bulldogs conclude the regular season with a home series against Maine (Apr. 25-26), a road game versus Stonehill (Apr. 29), and the final series against UMBC in Smithfield (May. 1-2).
The America East Championships will take place in Orono, Maine, this season from May. 6-10.
