HOPKINTON, N.H.- Senior
Jasmine Trott won the 2025 America East Cross Country Championships at Hopkinton State Fairgrounds. Trott and
Chloe Whiting made the way for the women's cross country team to record their best team finish in program history, placing second overall. The men's team would place 8th overall.
Trott earned the women's Individual Champion award for her efforts in the 5k, including a personal record of 17:02.59. Trott's two best times in the 5k occurred in the America East Cross Country Championships. The same can be said for
Chloe Whiting, who finished the 5k with a time of 17:09.27 in second place. Six different student-athletes on the women's cross country team earned PRs. Trott and Whiting outpaced the remaining competition one step at a time.
Aiden Masse lead the men's team in the 8k meet. Masse finished with a time of 25:23.57. Masse was followed up by
Andrew McConnell in 35th place with a time of 25:37.19. Not too far behind McConnell were
Jack Moir and
Justin Shiffrin who finished 42nd and 44th respectively.
