Box Score ORONO, ME. – The Bryant University softball team fell to Maine in the Bulldog's first game of the America East playoffs by a score of 9-7 in extra innings.
Makenna Coleman hit a solo home run, Megan Marcel had an RBI double, McKenzie McAloon recorded the game-tying RBI single in the bottom of the seventh, and Aleix Hudson went 4-5 at the plate.

- The Black Bears scored two runs on a Black and Gold throwing error in the bottom of the eighth inning to regain the lead.
How it Happened
- In the bottom of the first inning, Hudson hit a double with one out, and Alexis Clancy drew a walk, setting up Marcel, who hit a bases-clearing double to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead.
- Coleman launched a solo home run to left center with two outs in the bottom of the second inning (3-0).
- In the top of the sixth with two outs, the Black Bears hit a three-run HR (3-3).
- Maine broke the tie with four runs in the top of the seventh off of two singles, a sac fly, and a Bulldog error (7-3).
- Coleman and Hudson hit back-to-back singles to begin the bottom of the seventh Alexis Larrow then hit a single to the gap, scoring one (7-4). Marcel and Sam Rohwer drew walks to get the Black and Gold within two (7-5). McAloon hit a single to center field, tying the game at seven (7-7).
- In the top of the eighth inning, the Black Bears scored two on a throwing error to home plate (9-7).
